Analysis of The cost of love
My father, a fisher man by nature
Came back home hurried like an empty hurricane,
His fishing nets looked sad and his eyes bequiled the waves of the ocean,
His shoes coughed mud and dust as one who strives underground
His words sounded like many waters yet silent like a grave,
I felt them, like a tiny fishing boat floating and dancing at the mercies of the waves
He reached out his black blisters hands to touch my mother's hair
Then sighed the triumph of his defeat by the ocean
I witnessed a living sarcus festival,
As he showcased the dolphin bites on the palms of his hand and felt the veins in my mother's hair
she smiled, her smile spread through out the room like a butterfly
Ow I knew it, she's a sheephead fish
A fish with teeth that feast on his flesh
There's nothing to tell of this story than this, true love is nothing but to loose
