Analysis of Lotus Reborn

From the flames of a rising sun
I breathe in the fire of the universe
Redeeming my soul back to life
Out of darkness and obscurity
I am reborn in priceless splendor
By grace, favor and opportunity
To be at the right place
At the right time
With the right people
For the right purpose.

From the depths of deepest mud
I rise in the pure water of a pond
Floating weightless to bloom
As the lotus blossom fragrant
Awake, alert and aware
Beneath a shade tree
I breathe in
I breathe out
Focusing my mind
Smiling I am free.

Living Buddha, living Christ is me
I marry a dual path to happiness
The child of two worlds
Existing in one body
Hope walks with me each step
No longer an orphan
The blue moon follows me
From a lonely night
Love has found me again
Because it was always here.
