Analysis of Lies In The Truth
Am I the villain in your story of pity
I’ll hold the gun while you flee with your hero
Swallowing your words is showing my gritty
Thicker than water is a useless saying
You’re always right no matter how wrong
Fractured love it was us you were betraying
Love forgives but my mind always remembers
You walking away from open armed welcomes
But I’ll be the bad guy left fanning the embers
One we all were once, divided by you
I can’t help but recall the tears you shed
Scooped you up from death’s grip it’s true
Never can reconcile its torn to shreds
Love still remains just merely a glow
But me as the villain is better instead
The foundation is crumbling ready to break
Go forth and gather all your broken pieces
I’ll stand alone and your hatred I will take Forgiveness still in my hand but not for your sake
