Analysis of 24HRS LESS
The sun has chosen not to forgive
The folly of my childhood years.
When under it's watchful stares
I did the most useless of things.
Now I'm older in a time
Of just too many things to do
It swiftly turns day into night
An outright deed to mock my plans.
I bet the sun has charmed the clock
To cheat me of my 24.
The sun must be a lady
In need of full attention.
If you sit under her idle
Making nothing of her shine,
When you then know what to do
She'd spread her wings and fly away
Into the night on honeymoon.
She'd tell her lover of your folly
So he'd dim his light with fury
Leaving you to work the night
With nothing but your candle light.
Then by dawn, she'd through your window
Laugh at you under your pillow.

About this poem
I wrote this poem to express my fear that I barely have enough time to accomplish all I need to in a day. But I'm building up my time management skill. It's funny to think that I alone have 24hrs less in a day.
