Analysis of Blue Rose

Hailey Flynn 2003 (Wichita, Kansas)

Blue roses bloom in the moonlight's glow
A rare and beautiful sight to behold
Petals as soft as a whispering breeze
In a shade that brings me to my knees
Their fragrance is a sweet melody
A symphony of enchanting mystery
Each delicate bloom a work of art
From nature's brush, a masterpiece to impart.
With thorns that hide beneath the blue
A reminder that beauty can cause pain too.
Yet still, I'm drawn to their captivating hue.
For in their presence, my soul feels renewed,
Blue roses, a symbol of the unattainable
A celestial beauty, almost mythical
But in their existence, I find my hope.
That even the rarest dreams can elope,
So, let them bloom in the midnight's glow.
A reminder that beauty can still grow
In the darkest of night, a beacon of light
Blue roses, a sight that will always fill me with delight.
