Analysis of WOMAN IS SUPERHUMAN
Elizabeth Njeri Waweru 1991 (Naivasha)
When they spread her too thin,
She became the elastic that never breaks,
When they all burnt her to ashes,
She became a phoenix that keeps on rising,
When they buried her deep down,
She sprouted into the most fragrant flowers,
When they blew out her candle,
She turned out to be luminous,
Woman is superhuman.
They worked so hard to make her weak and invisible,
But she grew stronger and luminary.
