Analysis of Prayer of Unity!

Tom Portman 1949 (leesburg)

Prayer Of Unity
Lord help me to read your word
So that you can be known and heard
May I continually pray to know your desire?
For by knowing you I will aspire
Let me not focus on the knowledge of this world
But let your wisdom be unfurled
Lord we do pray for our own needs
However our objective-- to keep planting seeds
Give us courage to take your word to others
But give us discernment to not offend our brothers
Let us not concentrate on our individual right
But on Your will and long term insight
Let us not dwell on denomination
For to put limits on you is an abomination
And bring all nations to unity of mind
To accomplish this; you -- they must find!
