Analysis of GodForgives
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
All that is within me;
To embrace and console,
Giving insight to see.
To bless His holy name,
And all His benefits;
About what I proclaim,
Of what one inherits.
He heals all of your ills,
Forgives iniquities;
While the truth instills,
To calm anxieties.
He who redeems your life,
Crowns you with love and grace;
Mercy to ease your strife,
Steadfastly to embrace.
He satisfies with good,
Renews like eagle wings;
Guides you the way you should,
To soar high that it brings.
