Analysis of Loss

Bali Singh 1961 (Stockton on Tees)

She held you in her arms, as you breathed your first breath

Nine long months, she nurtured you. Your arrival into the world echoed joy and jubilation for friends and family alike. A precious, darling boy; you were perfection personified

She taught you right from wrong, she tried to keep you safe. She never knew that danger  lurked within …

The joy you brought was immeasurable, yet slowly but surely, your smile was in decline.

The years that followed went by in a haze.  You  tried to slay your demons one by one; your mind In turmoil, you resorted to mother’s ruin…

Finally, your body called time. You tried to resist;you didn’t want to leave!

She held you in her arms, as you breathed your last…
