Analysis of THE BOASTS OF THE WORLD
THE BOASTS OF THE WORLD
See smoke, the fog of war
Watch the flashes of fire.
Hear the cannons roar
This is the devil's sole desire
Listen to the whistle of war.
And come wars horrible rumors
Bloodshed like never seen before.
The blossom of sin's rotton tumors
Confusion reigns, chaos is king
Free lust they don't hide
This is the ruin of everything
The devil sits on the walls of pride
Fragile pride, destined to fail
And the shrapnel of pride flies
Cuts those He calls out of Hell
Walk right through the lies
I'll tell you, I'm here just to boast
But I boast of my God, who saves
In my weakness, when I needed Him most
He rescued me making gardens of graves
You boast of yourself, your wall shatters
I watch your world fall all apart
I boast of Christ, and nothing matters
As His Grace pierces the heart
When I am weak, HE is strong
When I fall, He lifts me high
Evil rages, we don't belong
Yet above all the chaos we fly
And again the boasts of a giant
Mockingly swings his sword
But I have no fear, for I'm relient
On the might and power of my glorious Lord
I hear the enemy, boast, and mock
And the whole world rage that I'll fall
But Jesus, He's my Salvation, my Rock
With a Word He shatters the wall
The world is gonna rant and rage
The fires of war will blaze
But God is our strength, in every age
He's our boast, in even these final days
AMEN

About this poem
But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[a] For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18
