Analysis of Comfort In Contradiction

How do you give praise without having the Authority to worship?

How do you cheerfully give when there is never an offering?

How do you experience real intimacy in fellowship without ever assembling with God’s People in God’s House?

How do you pour yourself into His Word without ever opening your Bible?

How do you pray without ceasing and yet never assemble to pray?

How do you get filled with His Spirit and yet never enter into His Presence?

How do you fully surrender to His Will, while straddling the fence of obedience?

How do you put Jesus first in your life, while you are demanding to go your own way?

How do you sit in the beauty of His Holiness, while being so absorbed by your own selfishness and lust?

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the
right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
