Analysis of Blackbeard

Rattling swords brisk walk scuff knocking
Lantern in hand misty chance encounter
Bigger than life shadows overbearing attack
Famous black bearded pirates stabbing stare

Gigged on a pole warning all pirates beware
Blackbeard's empty throat dripping red blood forever
Beard and hair swaying in the cursed winds whistle
Severed head spinning in war battles revenge

Teach's Hole now drifts and moans in the moon
Ocracoke treasures never found in the lost fog
Buried and buried and buried again uncharted
Ghost enactments in death's ghastly reruns

A loud roar with a snaggled grin points
Two pistols drawn in the ocean night fire
Over and over in deaths never realized again
Ghost mirrored scenes living in frights mysterious past

Searching the riverbanks for his wandering head
Carolinas most famous ghost haunting tale begins
Sirens sing a smugglers song of untimely passing
Erie graveyards pirates dance entrancing fire
