Analysis of Forbidden Love

You set my heart aflame
Leaving just as fast as you came
Scorching the wounds you’ve made
Yet this, only I have laid
I’m sorry having to leave this way
Leaving only disarray
Yet our love is true
Brightening my soul through and through
I know you are leaving
But I won’t stop believing
I promise I won’t stop grieving
Whoever made souls made ours interweaving
