Analysis of The Lord Is Better Than Salve
My heart began to churn,
as I turned to and fro.
Deep within me it began to burn,
as I basked in the sunlight's glow.
Inside me a hunger yearned-
for something I couldn't have.
As my skin turned red and burned,
I turned to the Lord, He's better than salve.
