Analysis of Recovery

Skin prickling in the dark of night.
Here comes the itching again.

Can’t get comfortable no matter how I lay,
Somethings either pulling and cramping.

How am I expected to sleep?

Surgery recovery is a real bitch.
But then so is back pain and fibromyalgia,
Every day a new challenge.

I still don’t regret the hysterectomy,
I don’t think I ever will.
