Analysis of The Miracle of Love

The emotional heart is like the deepest of wells
At the core everything is pure
Passion and love from a source so intense
Just touching this core will bring you to tears of joy
It’s then you’ll know it lives in you
The miracle of love
Like a river the passion will flow
Let the love inside you sing out
Hear the voice there telling you
This was always meant to be
May it free you like nothing else before
A love so special, so unique and rare
Words of beauty reach new heights and depths
The passion of God’s love within two hearts
A power surge throughout eternity
Between soulmates bonded by true love
To be the positive force
Embrace your heart within my own
Fulfill your every dream in life
Every fantasy turned to reality
All this we share so true
The miracle of love

DanceOfThePoet'sPen

Guess you could say I'm a self taught poet. I started writing poetry as a means of dealing with the emotions of finding my Birthmother's obituary and grave site after searching for 10 years. I continued writing and over the course of the last 20 years I've become comfortable in how I write. You'll notice I tend to write a lot about nostalgia and old memories. Hey, when you round the corner of 60 years, you start thinking a lot about the past and where you've been. One of my subjects I write about is love, but I try to write of other things too. I've lived on the south shore of Massachusetts for all of my 64 years. But I love all of New England. Aside from writing poetry, I also love photography and have quite a collection of old antique cameras. Baseball, football, muscle cars and car shows are also some of my interests. Not too crazy about Winter. Spring & Summer are my favorite seasons. more…
