Analysis of The crossroads
Bryan Kiser 1989 (Benton harbor, Michigan)
The road to happiness is far but the smell is near
There is depression, anxiety and sometimes fear
One obstacle after another, the path is never clear
I walked for years searching life which way should do the wise steer
My first step is to leave the past behind in the rear
Speak my truth and show that courage reflecting in the mirror
I am strong not just for me but my peers
I want change and I see it ahead
The more confidence the abundance of wisdom of God's voice can reach my ears
The pain and struggle was only a veil
God gave me the strength so I can prevail
Destiny calling, heart racing blessings in disguise and time will tell
The crossroads was a battle ground to help me stay strong
