Analysis of A Loss
It has been years—it seems like a moment
Spiritual intimacy knows no time
It celebrates our coexistence
Beautifily sublime
There is no answer.
The suffering- like a perpetual open wound never heals
You hide, you tender the wound- but the wound remains
While no longer apparent- the pain is ever real
Blame has lessened
What difference does it make??
If it were reversible- myself instead
But life is more savage and will not release what it takes
So you get up
Face the day's trials and tribulations
Beneath the face you prepare
You weep
