Analysis of an excerpt from "Orions Love Letters"
shes relaxed
a little drunk again
and looking for the stars
so she can leave here
tonight
and sleep like a sunset
after a kiss from the sea
& we'll watch the constellations ripple
in the waves
to form a cosmic sequel
to the dawn of
you
and
me
("never close your eyes," he begged her."that
way i can swim deep into your mind and paint
you a picture so you can see that you've been
crawling all over inside of mine." At this
they were childly spun together with a kiss.)
