Analysis of As The Moon

As I stare up into the twilight,
I try to be as the stars...
So numerous, no one would ever notice
an extra star in the sky...
but try as I might...

I am as the moon...
Turning phases so often, I often forget...
I am as the moon...
While I'm surrounded by numerous stars and planets,
I am as the moon...
Illuminating the world through a light not my own,
I am as the moon...

Unique, Special, and Alone...
When you are as the moon,
You are all this and more...

Intangible, Mysterious, and at times Unpredictable...
Adaptable and aloof like the moon turning phases...

Effecting everything and yet nothing around me,
If the moon disappeared, the world,
If it survived would be the worst for it.
