Analysis of Blessed beyond Measure
I remember those days when I longed for a child.
I sometimes felt I was losing my mind.
I prayed and left it up to Him,
I knew I had it up to the brim.
Finally I got word you were on your way.
I couldn't wait on that glorious day.
Signs of your arrival time was approaching,
I definately needed some more coaching.
You took a little longer than we all expected.
I couldn't help it, I felt so disconnected.
When I didn't hear your first cry,
I felt I was surely going to die.
As they tried to save your little soul,
I felt my blood run cold.
Don't know how much time went by,
Then finally I heard my baby's cry.
God alone knows how grateful we are,
Not having you here would have left a big big scar.
So baby boy you are our little treasure,
Surely reminded we are blessed beyond measure.
