Analysis of Broken

The words stab like daggers
The sentences twist the blade
The actions shove it in farther

My heart bleeds
Your words
Caused the wound

My heart bleeds
Your actions
Worsen the bleeding

My heart lies
Unsafe from the sadness
Unsafe from the despair

Your words destroyed me
Even though
Truth they hold

My last sanctuary broken
Destroyed by the hurt
Disintegrated by the words
