Analysis of Compelation
I dreamt I killed Shel Silverstein.
I just looked him in his dead eye and said,
"No, -this- is where the sidewalk ends."
His seductions and subterfuge had fooled me
into a misguided love.
That's what I think about, his raspberry fantasy,
as I sit in a 7-eleven with a gun in my mouth.
They say I'm just a crazy ol' man.
Maybe I am. But at my age, who cares?
