Analysis of Cowardly Dogs
What horror have you wrought?
Cowardly dogs!
You will not see
The faces of those who will never be whole.
You will not hold
The sobbing mother, father, daughter, son.
You will not dig
Through ashes and stone,
Praying for any spark of life.
Your heart will not break.
You will not cry a thousand tears.
You will never know
That America will stand.
