Analysis of Death
A body aches tired and weary
As the blood flow in my veins becomes eerie
The heart it stops and listens
In the silence a pool of blood glistens
On the concrete does a body lay
A soul lingers hoping to stay
Throughts of meaningless slip through the mind
Twitching of nerves is life's last bind
Lungs explode like a fiery hell
Eyes move side to side as if in a trapped cell
Pain resides in the throat
Intestines being thrown around like a boat
Nail marks etched in stone
Muscles torn and bone shown
Coldness fills the body's emptiness
The acid's reaction makes a hiss
Tormented by the last gasp for air
But blackness fills and leaves me bare
As shock finally begins my body shakes
And the last step of death; my mind, body, and soul detrirates
