Analysis of Distortions

The taste of food is better if you truly like the cook
even plain bread and water yield a gustatory look.

The mountaintop is higher where grand beauty lies below
peaks and valleys in-between brightly shimmer, gleam and glow.

The time always spins faster when you're having lots of fun
activities lasting hours are like minutes just begun.

The burden isn't heavy carrying your own lover
pounds are reduced to ounces compared to any other.

The cloudy day seems sunny as warm rays pervade the heart
real climatic conditions can't override or dispart.
The musical vibrations are played by all heavenly bands
dancing to beat and rhythm is what rock and roll demands.

Reality distortions spring from an internal view
experience is subjective shaping what's considered true.
