Analysis of emotional ransom
emotionally ransomed
developmentally arrested
this living shadow lingers
as the deathly shell's ingested
an all but a flesh and bone phantom
renunciate,
revoked assent
I'm a blood feast for the worms
In this torrent of torment
I take back each apology
I still can't tell what I was thinking
I take back every complement
I steal back every dime I spent
there's still a little something I should leave you
a trinket really
meaningless
without value
not one red cent
this memory will soon be dust
a faded face
striated with carbon rust
wither with the weary age
they'll make cartoons of us
to shoot off into space
I love this lie...
the ultimate illusion
If there's nothing past the corporeal
I'll have my conclusion
