Analysis of Fade

She's made a better life for her,
But I can't point the blame.
She's found a better match for her,
I'd wish to do the same.

They said that time would help her fade,
This hasn't been the case.
I still can feel her in my veins,
This bond I can't replace.

It's twice or more, our time apart
Since fate had made me fall,
But still I cherrish memories
That hurt me to recall.

I see that life is moving on,
My match I've yet to find.
But even then I dare not leave
These memories behind.
