Analysis of Far from perfect fully protected
There once was a time that I spent my life,
In constant pursuit of sin and strife,
I wasted many days and most of my nights,
Drinking and partying and getting in fights,
I realized one day this is a fight I cannot win,
Not one more day do I want to begin,
Begin with a headache or memory lost,
Why am I here knowing the price it has cost,
The troubles that come from a life so spent,
Include the fact that 3 times to prison I went,
You would hope I had learned from freedom taken,
Yet even then I refused to awaken,
If we live to 100, life is too soon done,
It is a truth from which you cannot run,
Death is coming and it won't be long,
There is peace in knowing to whom you belong,
You may choose not to belive that Jesus saves,
It will not change that we will all find graves,
Some day we will see the truth of it all,
I pray before then upon Jesus you will call.
I am just a man and far from perfection,
The one thing I have is Christ's protection,
Eternity is forever and it does not end,
Only you can choose where eternity you spend.
