Analysis of Genetics
Experts say that genes skip
a generation.
You laugh like your grandmother.
You love like your aunt.
But biology's spiders wrap long-
neglected chandeliers,
and the curse of memory invades
unguarded moments,
distorting prisms that once sparkled
reds and yellows, now wrapped taut
like unopened presents
from strangers.
