Analysis of Just Plain Folk
It wasn't the pastor
But plain folk people
passing the word.
Church goin' hand clappin'
friendship stompin'
Spirit prayin folk.
Amen ragin' tear cryin'
All in the Lords work
folk.
Full hipped, full lipped,
sassin' to and thro folk.
Natural locked,
Perm caught stylin' folk.
Well dressed, casual look folk
Independent, helpin' handed folk
Just plain everyday folk.
Waitin' for judgement day folk.
