Analysis of Mother's Love

From cradle to grave
Mom will always be there
Not in person perhaps,
But she'll be watching from above.
With tender loving care,
She brought me into this world
And nurtured me the best way she could,
With encouragement and love
As well a wonderful mother would.

Her belief in me was such that I
Could reach any goal I set my sights on.
Now that she's gone
I realize how much she's missed.
If I could only turn back the hands of time
And let her know what I haven't
Told her enough...
That she's the sweetest mom ever
And the smartest one too.

But then again I know she can hear me
Always from high above.

Alexander Lim

I am a neurologist, who writes mostly medical articles for publication. When I have time, I tend to write essays and forums, sometimes for our local newspaper in areas that interest me, some of which may be quite controversial. I love "point" and "counterpoint", having been a co-captain of my Hi-school debate team. Poetry is not my genre of choice. I do it when some subjects prompts me, but I do find solitude in it. more…
