Analysis of My Daughter

My daughter is not even born
but I look forward to the day.

Without her my husband, son, and I were forlorn
But soon our family "square" will make us okay.

My daughter Rebecca will look like a princess
all dressed up with ribbons and bows.

We look ahead to the day
where we'll attend her talent shows.

Even if she wants to play
baseball, basketball, or skate

Making sure that she is healthy and happy
is going to be great.

In a few months she will appear
Her instant trust and love for us will be sincere.

My daughter might be shy or brave
We're thankful for the gift God gave.

Well soon I'll have my tubes tied;
Because anymore kids and my brain will be fried.

I just thought I oughta end this poem with a little humor.
