Analysis of Rain

Light my room so I could see
A sad sinner and his wicked glee
Desired death but I float
The sea water has captured my throat
It was a brilliant place in my desert
And I used it for my own pleasure
Controlled by the overwhelming thirst
The bee abused the flower's trust
It was sad to see you cry
It reminds me of my years of plight
A failed family with no peace in sight
A forsaken child with no friends to abide
But a solace that abated my sorrows
Was the only seed He could bestow
That needed her rain
But she had inadequacies to complain
She incinerated what she made
She drowned me with a single wave
So I have been through the fire
To obtain the things she admired
That accompanied an empty desert
Too bland to call it my treasure
Only sand that hurt my eyes
Cold air tries to freeze me at night
So I search for that solace
But all I find is the hateful gaze
Every woman looks the same
They all seek the same traits
So I play this dirty game
I have their nectar to obtain
It keeps me going in the hardest days
And I will do it again and again
Till an angel showers the fulfilling rain
