Analysis of Rather wait

I'd rather wait to know someone than judge them at first sight,
Which would be flawlessly wrong.
I'd rather wait to know someone for a lifetime,
Than put myself where it may possibly not belong
.
 And for a lifetime,
I'd rather love our relationship whatever it maybe.
 Whatever that defines us,
whoever we really are.

Whether unrequited or not,
That feeling I would so love and care.
After all we are just human,
Bound to make mistakes over and over.
Perfect or not it's just life,

So I'd rather keep on living than expect a closure.

Mohamed Azumee

I liked to be called a poet or a lyricist. I attempt to explore and find out my true potential, for every day is a day one learns. I like to write what I feel mostly, surely words are felt from the mind and heart. I hope you enjoy my work. Feedback is always welcome. Some poems are very old since they were archived from the old site. Kudos to Hall of Fame :)I am 28 now. I have been writing since I was 12 and a member of poetry.com so some poems that are old since 2000 or 2002 may sound childish but hopefully would be an enjoyable read. more…
