Analysis of Remembered At Best
When they speak of me one day, I'm sure some will say,
"Oh she was a good person. She always had a smile".
Some will even say, "you know she had style".
They'll all agree, I talked a lot. "That's was just her way".
But I want to be remembered for the things I had to say.
I didn't believe in lying, stealing, or cheating to get my way.
I stood for what I felt was right to the very end,
In the face of losing family and so called friends.
That life without truth was worthless to me.
In the company of those that lied and cheated,
I did not wish to be.
I cannot dictate what will be said as I'm laid to rest.
I can only hope I'll be remembered at best.
