Analysis of Sorrow
Heartfelt
Pangs of sorrow;
A flutter of bright wings,
A small form upon the cold earth.
Weep for this fallen creation of joy,
This bird that brought song to our lives ~
Life, gone in an instant,
Held in my hand,
Heartfelt
NOTE: The poem is in the form of a ‘Rictameter’ with syllable pattern 2-4-6-8-10-8-6-4-2 with same word for the first and last lines.
