Analysis of Summer's Love

I fell in love with my summer sun.
So alone, in pain, with no where to turn.
Our lost childhood brought us together.
Different lives, hopes crushed, vision shattered,
folded arms, attitude and all.
Our only hope was to give our lives away
without regret, without looking back, no return.
My heart I freely gave with complete abandon,
longing only to help with the little I had to give.
Receiving far more than I will ever know in return.
How to love the unlovely, forgive the unforgivable,
hope for the impossible, expect the unexpected,
dream the impractical, to wait on the miracle.
Our lives changed forever in impossible ways
continuing to grow as we yield daily to the Spirit.
Somedays in brilliance and others only a shadow
but always moving forward in the love
of our Jesus who made this all possible.
I love you my Summer Sun, with all my heart.
Give your life away, a miracle of love returned.
