Analysis of Swan

By the light of the melting sun,
swam a single, graceful swan.
Like a teardrop in the snow,
Each diamond feather seemed to glow.
He glided forward silently,
like a quiet Summer breeze.

The amber sun shone on his back,
turning the water a golden path.
Like a soft, sweet melody,
Singing to the emerald trees.
He was a king of a scarlet lake
like a dream no one wants to wake

By the light of the dying sun,
swam a single, graceful swan
Like a teardrop in the snow,
Each diamond feather seemed to glow.
I was sorry,
to see him go
