Analysis of Taking Off
frantic wing
cutting wind
chilling brow
blurring ground
shortening runway
shrinking shadow
straining frame
torturing heart
failing spirit
faltering faltering
upward springing!
existence spanned
in one bright arc
a leaping rainbow
soaring soaring soaring
o may I live
thus slicing air
and when my time comes
so may I die
with whole heart
still springing upward
