Analysis of The Gray

She was looking for another world
An imaginary one where she could stay;
Where there was no memory, no pain,
No sadness, no time of night or day.

Once and for all she made up her mind
She finally had a chance to go away;
The brightness of color was unnecessary
She only wanted to live in the gray.

So she picked the one she wanted
And now she's going away today;
There she would stay in the gray
Where she would be okay come what may.
