Analysis of The Wiseman
Transference of power
a shift in the tide
with one foot in the past
one martyr subsides
with the keys to the kingdom
comes a hole in the ground
and a tongue to be silenced
amid thunderous sound
Faithful apostles
are put to the sword
For those who will follow
to gain their reward
for forbiddance in power
is on the return
while the Wiseman is taunted
he's of no concern
Cowardly tolerance
and decadence abound
now the elders are silent
they don't make a sound
for controlled and bemused
they betray the slain
till logic and reason
bring peace once again
The mighty have fallen
so what fate lies in ahead
for the Wiseman has spoken
they heard what he said
