Analysis of Through the Gate
Come on in I'll show you around,
Thorough the gate see what I've found,
Step this way walk through the shade,
What an impression the entrance has made.
Across the lawn to the table white,
Sit yea down take in the site,
Close to Amberley yet hidden from view,
This's the place for me or you.
Here there's warmth in the afternoon sun,
Take a drink be contented with one,
Have some cake a bun or so,
Watch the world but let it go.
Up the drive two cars and a truck,
Two cattle dogs one only a pup,
Traces of blue with clouds wafting by,
Finally we've arrived my wife and I.
What a surprise a place like this,
One can speculate dawns first kiss,
The moon at night and the stars above,
An ideal spot for romance and love
