Analysis of Beauty
Erene Charlemagne 1964 (St. Lucia)
Beauty is only skin deep
So let the wrinkles sleep
For age defines the way we look
Forget that beauty book.
Some women can be quite vain
While others remain so plain.
In beauty salons
they spend every waking moment
where they can't make the payment.
Beauty truly comes from within
Even though you think you're ugly as sin.
For if your personality really shines out
You're beautiful even though you pout.
Maintaining your beauty is quite a pain
And being obsessed can make you insane.
So if you keep smiling
And lend a helping hand
Your beauty will shine
All throughout the land.
