Analysis of Tell Me

Damsel Salatan 1997 (Philippines)

Do you think of me?

when the sun goes down
when you're all alone
sitting in the corner
of a grave stone;
when you hear Miley's song—

Do you still think of me?
I wish you could tell me.

It's like every sunset exists
to remind me of you.

In a lonesome moments,
I constantly imagine you.

And in every Miley's era,
there's always a song that potrays you.

So, tell me.
Do you think of me too?
'cause I still do.

We never know how high we are Till we are called to rise; And then, if we are true to plan, Our statures touch the skies— The Heroism we recite Would be a daily thing, Did not ourselves the Cubits warp For fear to be a King— From 'We Never Know How High We Are' (1176) by Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) more…
