Analysis of If I Were in Charge of the World”

Amaiya Carballo 2008 (victorville)

If I were in charge of the world I´d make coronavirus go away, and allow people to come to California without the border, and make a national sleepover at your friend's house day.

If I were in charge of the world there´d be places opened back up, and kids would control adults, and nobody would pay to get into a good college.

If I were in charge of the world you wouldn't have to do homework, you wouldn't have to do chores, and you wouldn't have to count by 4s.

If I were in charge of the world people would be kind, and loving, and no one would be mean and horrid.

If I were in charge of the world there'd be more candy, and more sweets, and much fewer veggies and peas.

If I were in charge of the world all violence would go away, and people would be happy, and their hearts filled with joy, the world would be happier with all kinds of toys,

If I were in charge of the world.
