The Nature of Beauty

Flowers are not able to see their petals
Therefore, they are not able to see how beautiful they are
But everyone else can

Inside and out
Our personalities and qualities sprout

We doubt ourselves at an extensive price
In order to love yourself, you have to sacrifice

With arms that flow free like leaves
Our self-hate should be brief

There is no need in wishing to be anyone
Because the journey has only begun

We are able to see everything about ourselves
Therefore, we are able to see how beautiful we are
And so can everyone else
