My Denial

The call that haunts my eternal soul
Beckoned by the one that bears the fruit of four
Unknown or denial blinded by shame
Falling from the sky paralyzed not by fear
Ambition, hopes and dreams dissolved
Self-worth nothing over a D mark or two
Privacy intruded and Eichmann like
Standing guard a frau does smirk
The only belongings I have nothing more
Torn and tattered tossed to the creaking boards
Photos of what could, should but never would be
The sinking of Arizona my heart  goes under
My head and will, never to be free
Till death shall we part I will be tough
Blind by ones inner self a hidden protector
Sloth like it morphs replaced by regret
No my love there is no escape
