Beauty from pain

There's beauty from my pain,
Past abuse cannot longer stain,
I choose to continue my inner fight,
Claw my way through the dark night,
To reach the surface where theirs light,
To become a butterfly in the sky,
My soul is freed to fly,
I Don't forget but I overcome,
All the abuse that was done,
I choose to open my wings and fly,
No matter what, Will always try!

About this poem

Talks about overcoming abuse. To remind myself that I am worth much more.

I love to take the negativity from my childhood and learn from it, to write about who I am now and what I have accomplished. I share my heart so that others can see there's beauty frompain. more…
