The Wound

Samir 1974 (Mumbai)

I scrapped it,
layer by layer.
Didn't know,
that her wound
would be so deep.
 I saw her eyes
awash with agony
filled with woe
that shattered her heart
bit by bit.
Until, it turned so brittle,
it dispersed into pieces,
which ,never were found.
